Powerful Performance, Durable Frame and Long-Lasting Battery
The heart of the bike is its 500W motor that can produce up to 86Nm of torque. What makes this bike special is its sensitive torque sensor. Push harder, get more help. Ease off, and the motor does too.
The Himiway D5 Zebra High-Step uses a frame made from 6061 aluminium that's twice as thick as regular bike frames. This extra strength lets it carry up to 400 lbs (180 kg) of total weight, including rider and cargo.
The Samsung/LG battery packs 960Wh of power and fits neatly in the frame. You can ride up to 80 mi (128 km) using pedal assist, or about 60 mi (96 km) using just the throttle. The new technology keeps 80% of its power even after 1000 charges.
Beach to Trail: Ready for Anything
The bike rolls on Kenda fat tyres that are 26 inches tall and 4 inches wide. These big tyres work well everywhere: gravel roads, sandy beaches, mountain trails, city streets, wet paths, snow, and grass. They give you a good grip and smooth out bumps, making your ride more comfortable no matter where you go.
The wheels use special rims (MD-147) for fat tyres, with 36 spokes each for extra strength. The spokes are 12-gauge stainless steel to handle the rough terrain. The front hub is extra wide (135 mm).
The Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors give you strong stopping power in any weather. These brakes should work well for about 5 years with basic maintenance. The bike also has bright LED lights front and back to help you see and be seen when riding at night.
Gearing and Parts: Quality Components
A 7-speed Shimano Altus system helps you find the right gear for any situation. The bike uses a KMC chain made specially for electric bikes, and all the parts are chosen to work reliably for a long time. The front fork has 95 mm of travel to smooth out bumps, and you can lock it for better efficiency on smooth roads.
The Himiway D5 Zebra uses a Neco H156EM headset to keep the steering smooth. The crankset consists of Prowheel arms that are 170 mm long with a 44-tooth chainring, matched to rear gears from 14 to 28 teeth. The stem is a Zoom TDS-C269-8FOV that's 90 mm long, putting you in a comfortable riding position.
The backlit screen shows you everything you need to know: speed, battery life, power level, and more. It even has a USB port to charge your phone and a security code feature to protect your bike. The controls are simple to use, with a thumb throttle when you don't want to pedal.
